Getuk Lindri is one of Indonesian
traditional foods and actually it is one of traditional foods that i like the
most. When i went to MTD, I foud this food and I remember my mom because if i
at home, my mom used to by me Getuk lindri when she went to traditional market.
Getuk lindri is one of traditional
food of indonesia which is almost rarely found . Expecially in a big city. We
can find it maybe only in tradition markets or in rural area. Not many people
sell this kind of food maybe they think that all of modern people righ now more
like modern foods which are made from cheese, chocolate, and so on. But actully Getuk lindri is much
more delicious. The form is also not less beautiful that many modern foods in
this modern era.
But i believe most of Indonesian people like
this food. Righ? Because i like this food so that i must able to make it not
just eat it.
The ingredients to make getuk lindri
1. Cassava (1
kg)
2. Sugar (250
gram)
3. Vanili (half
spoon)
4. Coconut
(Do’t forget to use the young coconut because it more delicious)

Grated coconut
·
Milk coconut (a cup)
5. Salt
6. Food dye
How to cook?
1. Prepare the
cassava. Take the peel of the cassava and wash it until the colour is pure
white without any soil remain. Then cut into small peaces.
2. Steam the
casava until it tender or soft
3. Take the
fiber of the casava. The fiber is located in the middle of casava.
4. Then mash the
casava when it is still hot because it will make you easy. If the casava has
already cold, we will difficult to mash it because it will became harder to
mash.
5. The next
step grate the coconut. Put some of it in a plate and make some of it as milk
coconut.
6. Boil the
milk coconat in a pan, put the sugar and vanili in it until the sugar melt
7. Take the
mashed casava and mix it with the mixture of milk coconut, sugar and vanili
which have already cooked before.
8. Give it
little food dye. The colour is up to us. If you like green, we can pot green
colour and if we like red you can put the red colour.
9. Mix it again
until all of indegrients are well mixed.
10. The next
step. Take the casava battar in a Getuk griding mechine. And after it out with
form like noodle, We can cut it into small pieces around 5 or 6 cm for each or
you can make it larger. Whatever depends on what you like
11. And the last
step is put the grated coconut on the pieces and the Getuk is already to be
served.
